Memorial Ankara Çankaya Hospital
Memorial Health Group, founded in 1995, embarked on its inaugural hospital project in 1996, aspiring to establish a globally recognized reference center. Supported by ECRI, the leading U.S. consultancy firm in the hospital sector, the construction of Memorial Şişli Hospital began on Istanbul’s European side, symbolizing not only the future of healthcare in Turkey but also a significant advancement in the field.
The construction of Memorial Şişli Hospital, synonymous with trust and leadership, was completed within about three years. Outfitted with cutting-edge technology appropriate for a top-tier international medical facility, the hospital welcomed its first patient in February 2000.
Just two years after its opening, Memorial Şişli Hospital earned the Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation Certificate, becoming the first hospital in Turkey and the twenty-first worldwide to achieve this mark of excellence in healthcare quality.
Operating within a 53,000 m² enclosed space, Memorial Şişli Hospital has a capacity of 252 beds. It offers services through 13 operating rooms, 4 intensive care units (cardiovascular, general, coronary, and neonatal) and 3 laboratories. The hospital is also equipped with specialized centers such as the Organ Transplantation Center, IVF Center, Genetic Center, Stroke Center, Breast Health and Diseases Center, Oncology Center, and Vinci Robotic Surgery.
My experience at Memorial Hospital Ankara was exceptional. The medical team was outstanding, demonstrating professionalism and empathy throughout my treatment. The hospital’s environment is clean and comfortable, equipped with the latest healthcare technology. I received excellent care and felt valued and respected as a patient. I would definitely recommend Memorial Hospital Ankara to anyone looking for high-quality.
